Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customised using a specialized application. You can save your home's maps, create cleaning schedules and select the mopping mode you prefer. They also let you change suction power and fine tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.
A mapping function helps your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles helps it avoid running over furniture, wires, or stray toys. These features are crucial in my home, which is full of toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, so it naturally comes with a host of features. It can sweep and mop in one session, and it can even lift its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from becoming too damp. It also can avoid obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vacuum we've tested up to now. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.
Mopping made a post are also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide deep cleaning. It also has an automatic mop lifting system which will lift the pad as it moves from tile to laminate hardwood, carpet and rugs to avoid getting soaked by these soft surfaces.
In addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be used for rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it up and forget about it. You only need to refill the water tank, or change the dust bag every now and then.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it started to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've tested.
It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only downside is that it's costly. Its sheer number of features make it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you can justify the price we strongly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. The price is justified by its robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that gyrate. It also includes an app-based controller that is smart and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combos available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed well throughout the entire home. It removed 98.4% debris on all types of floors and managed to lift hair that was long without getting caught up in. The mops also performed well, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational motion and an effective dose of cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's main selling point is its advanced multi-functional docking station. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag for dirt, refills the water tank to use for mopping and even dries your mop pads. It also comes with a real-time hazard detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions with its intelligent controls.
In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I've tested, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. In addition the mops aren't adept at removing tough stains like those in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be emptied and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, empty and dried on a regular basis to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads that are sold separately also require replacement every few months.
With the L10S Ultra's high-end cost and robust features I would highly recommend it to anyone with the money for it. If you're looking to save money I suggest a more basic model that lets you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to remember that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best mop and robotic vacuum you can purchase but its high cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a want than a need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet mess then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combination is a mighty suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. And it is equipped with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It even comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself as it moves this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-cleaning to wash off the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the bot and is continuously filled with clean, ozonated water from its dock. When it turns the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements and is poured into a larger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a good amount of water and can handle up to half a dozen mopping session before running out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do most robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro does need to be refilled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to the dock. However, if you do choose to use this feature you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your personal cleaner of choice.
Like many robots, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map a space and navigated around furniture. It sat on carpets with larger piles several times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides a lot of functionality at a reasonable cost.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level vacuum and mop however it has several impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as they go. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is great for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.
The software that runs this appliance is fairly dense, offering a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start an entire map and clear everything that's been that the device maps, or you can choose particular rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine that you've created. The default pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a space, with no gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective although it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like thick carpets but may not be able to identify smaller objects like electrical wires and rug tassels.
One of the biggest flaws of this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option which could be a problem for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. There's an easy solution: The app offers an option that lets you "clean up" at the end of each session. This lets you use the mopping feature of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces of debris and dust that are left behind by your vacuuming. This is a great feature that can help this robot keep its cleanness a bit higher than its competitors with lower prices.
